LASER CUTTING

Laser Cutting is a non-contact process which utilizes a laser to cut materials, resulting in high quality, dimensionally accurate cuts. The process works by directing the laser beam through a nozzle to the workpiece. A combination of heat and pressure creates the cutting action.

Our Bodor Laser is commonly used for : Mild Steel up to 12mm thick, Stainless Steel up to 6mm thick, Aluminium up to 6mm thick, Corten up to 12mm thick, Galv up to 10mm thick and can fit sheets up to 1500w x 3m long

BRAKE PRESS

hydraulic press, device consisting of a cylinder fitted with a sliding piston that exerts force upon a confined liquid, which, in turn, produces a compressive force upon a stationary anvil or baseplate. The liquid is forced into the cylinder by a pump. The hydraulic press is widely used in industry for forming metals and for other tasks where a large force is required.

Our PB135 MetalMaster Quality Pressbrakes feature high durability, and provide precision bending capabilities. The Pressbrake main frames are constructed from rolled, stress relieved solid steel to prevent distortion during the bending process and under extreme continuous loads.

WELDING

Welding is a joining process in which metals, or sometimes plastics, are heated, melted and mixed to produce a joint with properties similar to those of the materials being joined. There are three main components needed to create a weld. These are: A heat source such as an electric arc, a flame, pressure, or friction.

Here at Metal Dynamics we provide Mig, Tig, Arc & Gas welding. These options cover materials Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium & Copper

ROLLING MACHINE

A rolling machine is a piece of manufacturing equipment that contains two or more rollers through which raw metal is fed. The purpose of rolling machines is to compress raw metal into a thinner and more uniform shape, which is essential when producing sheet metal.

Our workshop has 2 hand rollers and 1 electric roller. All materials can be used in our rollers. Light sheet (under 2mm) down to a minimum 65mm Ø and heavy sheet (over 2mm) down to a minimum of 110mmØ. Maximum length 1200 long
